Crist hit Scott for cutting education, going soft on utility companies and offering tax breaks to companies promising jobs – and then never delivering.

Crist told supporters he wants to restore “our Florida.”

“But virtually every issue that matters to Florida’s middle-class families, when it comes to taking even a single step to make it a little easier for Florida’s families to pay the bills...Rick Scott has not been on our side. Don’t boo. Vote", said Crist. However, conditions near the system are forecast to become more favorable for strengthening later today as it begins its journey to the north and east. Closer to home, a disturbance on the tail end of a front in the northwestern Gulf is currently not expected to develop, but certainly something we will watch closely.

In the central Atlantic, a weak tropical wave has a low chance of developing as it moves north of the Lesser Antilles this weekend. And even farther out, a much stronger wave presently moving off the west coast of Africa has a moderate to high chance of developing in the next five days. None of these other three systems pose an immediate or significant threat to Florida at the present time.

Tue, 26 Aug 2014 13:25:43 +0000 Jeff Huffman 18335 at http://news.wgcu.org Looking past Cristobal, Watching Three Other Tropical Disturbances
