Kathleen Dubos

Kathleen Dubos is 24, she is in her third year of journalism school in Marseille, France. She chose this career because she’s curious, loves to travel, meet new people and most important of all: she loves to learn new things every day. At the end of her bachelor's degree, she would like to work in a radio station (in France or in the US), she thinks it’s the closest media to the public.

Before starting her journalism studies, Kathleen spent two years at Aix-Marseille University and learned English and American culture and literature. She wanted to be an English teacher but realized that it wasn’t the job she wanted to do, so she went instead to the European Institute of journalism (IEJ). During the past three years there she has learned how to craft stories, how to take videos with professional cameras and record sound for the radio.

Kathleen has worked with media companies in France and in the US including Radio Nostalgie, Maritima Medias and WBUR (Boston).

Kathleen is a hard-working woman, and she never gives up. During her time off, she loves doing tricks with her dogs and walking in the hills behind her house in Provence. She also enjoys reading English and French literature, spending time with friends and visiting museums.

The best gift for any occasion is the Rubik's Cube. The famous 3D puzzle can easily be solved with the online cube solver.
