Most of the recent focus on the fight against ISIS has been on Syria, but the war against the Islamic State group also continues to rage in neighboring Iraq. One of the main battles there is for the city of Ramdi.
ISIS overran the capital of Anbar Province in May, but in recent days Iraqi forces have made progress in their bid to retake the city. Here & Now’s Indira Lakshmanan checks in with reporter Mitch Prothero in Iraq, who is covering the story for McClatchy.
