Multiple waves in Atlantic with potential over the coming days

WUFT

Conditions in the central Atlantic have become slightly more conducive for tropical cyclone formation, and now we have multiple waves to watch. One, in particular, is forecast to pass through the Lesser Antilles by the end of the week and has a low chance of developing in the northeast Caribbean. A second and stronger wave is about half way between the Lesser Antilles and Africa, also moving west at about 15 mph. This one also has a low chance of developing within the next five days, and is more likely to drift slightly north of the one before it. At the present time, there is no immediate or significant tropical threat in the Atlantic, but certainly more activity to keep an eye on over the coming days.
