Remembering The Pulse Victims Six Months After The Shooting

WMFE, Catherine Welch
A small crowd gathered near the entrance of Pulse to remember the victims.

In Orlando, a small crowd gathered outside the Pulse nightclub early this morning to mark six months since the shooting. It started at 2:02, the exact moment a gunman opened fire killing 49 people and injuring more than 50 others. It took place near the club entrance.

Richard Sizemore was there.

“The family members that were able to make it were there to light the candles for the people that passed, then we just had a chance to quietly remember our friends”, said Sizemore.

The gay nightclub has been closed since the shooting. Its owner has vowed to turn it into a memorial.
