Southwest Floridians Who Remember JFK's Assassination -George and Pauline Renaud

Pauline and George Renaud celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday. They were about to get married in Rhode Island the day President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.  They postponed their honeymoon and drove to his funeral instead.

George is a retired middle school social studies teacher.  They live in Estero. In partnership with the Fort Myers News-Press, we bring you the Renaud’s memories of that time.
