Time spent at the polls varies from precinct to precinct

WGCU

Waiting time at polling locations in Southwest Florida today varied.  In some locations voters stood on line for more than an hour – in others they breezed through.  There were reports that some scanners used to process ballots weren’t working.  And there were concerns that come tomorrow there may be no clear winner in the race for White House.   Deanna Waterloo voted in Punta Gorda.

“It’s possible, especially with the Northeast they way it is I think it’s going to take a while to count their votes so it may not be possible to count their votes for a few days.  But I think it will be close,” she said.

Voters said they were relieved to have the season of negative TV Ads and robo-calls come to a close.
