Tropical Storm Likely to be Approaching Lesser Antilles by Friday

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsTmyOZ2UQE

Thunderstorms have been persistent near and west of the disturbance over the central Atlantic now dubbed as Invest 93, and according to the National Hurricane Center, it is likely to become our season's second named tropical storm later this week as it continues to move generally westward at 10 to 15 mph.

Development may occur as soon as today, but conditions become even more favorable by Thursday and Friday as the system moves closer to the Lesser Antilles. Projections on the future storm's track and strength in relation to the U.S. are premature at this point, but it certainly will be something worth watching over the coming days.
