The  newest novel from  Miami based writer Debra Dean takes the reader into the heart of Mother Russia with The Mirrored World a fictionalized account of the life of Saint Zenia of St. Petersburg.  Linda Fasulo has our review.

The tenth novel in author Robert  Macomber’s “Honor” series will be out in October.  The books focus on the life and times of Naval officer Peter Wake.  The first book “At the Edge of Honor” begins in 1863 with a young Wake taking command of a Union vessel patrolling the waters around Key West.  Fast forward more than twenty years.   The mature Wake is embroiled in espionage, fighting for his life in Cuba, in “Honorable Lies”. We talked to Bob Macomber about his work at his home in Matlacha, Twin Palm Cottage.

Followers of the world's most ancient religion now have their own place of worship in Southwest Florida. The Hindu community is celebrating the completion of its new temple after years of holding services without one. The official grand opening is Sunday.
