Democratic Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton leads Republican Nominee Donald Trump by 10 points in a new Quinnipiac University poll. But the poll also suggests many voters chose their candidate so the opponent wouldn't win.

Clinton has topped the 50 percent mark in the poll, leading Trump 51 percent to 41 percent. However, the poll shows this race is built on more “anti’s” than “pros.”

According to the poll, 64 percent of Trump supporters say they are voting mainly anti-Clinton, and 47 percent of Clinton supporters are mainly voting anti-Trump.

A vast margin of likely voters say Clinton is not honest: 66 percent to 29 percent. Trump also has a negative score on honesty, but with a smaller margin.

But a majority of likely voters say Clinton is qualified to be president at 66 to 33 percent, while 58 percent of voters say Trump is notqualified to be president.
