Vice President Draws Political Faithful To Tampa Rally

Marc Nozell

The political drumbeat in Florida is picking up with more and more rallies for the presidential candidates planned as election day draws near.

Roy Branner of Tampa attended Hillary Clinton's rally in downtown Tampa last week. But as a huge fan of Vice President Joe Biden - Branner was back again for Tuesday's rally to see his "favorite politician."
"I respect him for the life that he's led through 30-40 years of public service, and to endure the personal tragedies that he's had and still come out on top, I think is an inspiration to us all", Branner said.

Biden emphasized his "middle class roots" and told the Tampa gathering of about 150 that if they do their job right and "get out the vote" that they all will get to go to bed early Tuesday night.

Florida's presidential race is razor thin so voters can expect a full barrage of candidate visits for the next six days.
