Arts Non-profit Love Your Rebellion Adapts During Pandemic

Jesi Cason Photography

The new reality of social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic has changed so much about how we all go about our lives and artists and non-profits are certainly no exception.

We taking a closer look at the Southwest Florida-based non-profit Love Your Rebellion, which works to empower marginalized groups through the arts. Typically, the organization would be engaged in an ambitious schedule of live music performance and spoken word events as well as arts-based workshops, but that’s all changed.

We’ll speak with Love Your Rebellion’s founding president Angela Page about how the organization is adapting and the anticipated release of the latest issue of the Love Your Rebellion zine, appropriately and prophetically themed “Rude Awakening.”
