Thanksgiving break means many students will travel home for the holidays so universities across the country are planning to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

As Covid-19 cases surge, universities are preparing as best they can to keep students from taking COVID-19 home with them or bringing it back to campus. Florida Gulf Coast University president Dr. Mike Martin talks with WGCU's Julie Glenn about the university's efforts, including the plan to test students before they travel and when they return to campus, offering Thanksgiving dinner to students who stay on campus, and continued observance of social distancing and CDC guidelines.
