An exhibition titled “Forge and Scroll,” opens Friday, Sept. 3 at the Alliance for the Arts in Fort Myers. The show brings together the forged metal sculptures of blacksmith Steve Kalb and the poetry and watercolor works of Zan Lombardo. The Southwest Florida-based artists join us in studio to explore their work and the surprising ways the seemingly disparate mediums they work in converge and complement one another. An opening reception for the exhibition takes place Sept. 3 from 5 – 7 p.m. The exhibition runs through Sept. 25.

Lombardo will conduct gallery talks and poetry readings associated with her works Sept. 11 and Sept. 18 from 9 -11 a.m. alongside the Alliance for the Arts Saturday GreenMarket.
