Lawmakers in the House dug into the details of the chamber’s spending plan today (Tuesday.) Regan McCarthy reports the budget bill is expected to come up for a floor vote tomorrow. (Wednesday.)

Cities and counties across Florida could ban cigarette smoking for the first time, under a bill that gained ground on Tuesday in the Florida Senate. But as Steve Bousquet reports, there was some opposition to the idea.

Florida public school students may soon be able to get out of school with a note from their therapist. Gina Jordan has more about a bill that would enable more licensed professionals to say when a child should stay home.
