William Smith is the retired pastor of First Baptist Church in Fort Myers.  But on the day President John F. Kennedy was shot in 1963 Smith was an anchorman working at what was then TV station WBAP in Dallas. In partnership with the Fort Myers News-Press, we bring you William Smith’s memories of that day.
