Free Wills For First Reponders And Military Members This Weekend

Legal Aid Services of Collier County

This weekend, veterans, first responders, and active duty military and their families can get free legal aid to make wills.

Legal Aid Service of Collier County will help with wills, living wills and related estate planning during the event, called “Wills For Heroes.”

Legal Aid’s Director of Development, Jeff Ahren, said it’s especially important for current first responders and military personnel have a will.

“Whether they’re still active—particularly when they’re still active, they certainly do need to be thinking about taking care of their families in the event the worst may happen," Ahren said. "There’s also regular provision that everybody should have a will to make sure that their children are cared for, provided for, trust provisions are in place.”

Wills For Heroes takes place this Saturday at Legal Aid Services in Naples.
