Florida Delegates Left Waiting For A Ride To Convention

Florida Republican National Convention delegates had to sweat it out in suits waiting for buses hours late to their hotel Tuesday.

Sarasota County GOP chairman Joe Gruters jokes that it’s another sign the party was punishing Florida.

“Well you know we're paying the price. We were sent to purgatory for our past sins and unfortunately it took three hours to get from Innisbrook over to here.", said Gruter.

Many Florida Republicans believe their hotel is punishment for moving up Florida’s presidential primary.

Florida wasn’t alone. South Carolina delegates were also stranded at the same hotel.
