September 24 marks National Voter Registration Day, which is meant to encourage eligible voters to register or to make sure their information is up to date ahead of the 2020 elections. WGCU’s John Davis recently spoke with Collier County League of Women Voters’ Voter Service Committee member John MacDonald for a closer look at what the holiday is all about and what voters can do to prepare for next years’ elections.
The League of Women Voters in Collier is holding voter registration events at Hodges University and at the Immokalee Public Library.
