Two middle school students are charged with aggravated stalking after a 12-year-old Lakeland girl jumped to her death in September. Polk County homicide detectives say the girls bullied Rebecca Sedwick for more than a year, contributing to her suicide. The girls are identified as 12-year-old Katelyn Roman and 14-year-old Guadalupe Shaw.

Authorities say the girls threatened Sedwick and called her names. They say the girls picked at least one physical fight with her and also bullied her friends, discouraging other kids from being friends with her.

Witnesses say Shaw told Sedwick she should drink bleach and die.

Roman admitted to detectives she bullied Sedwick and said she was sorry.

Sedwick jumped to her death from a concrete silo tower.

Roman and Shaw were released into their parents' custody and remain on home detention.
