    State Health officials reported a single-day spike of 245 coronavirus-related deaths, Tuesday, increasing the statewide death toll to 7,402 fatalities. Tuesday’s reported deaths marked the third highest single day number of fatalities since the beginning of the pandemic.The Florida Department of Health also reported 5,446 new cases of COVID-19, Aug. 4, increasing the statewide total to 497,330 cases.Yesterday marked the tenth consecutive day the state has reported fewer than 10,000 cases in a day.

    State health officials reported 10,347 new cases of COVID-19, Monday, increasing the statewide total to 360,394 cases.Monday marked the 27th consecutive day of single-day increases of at least 5,000 cases.The Florida Department of Health also reported 90 new coronavirus-related deaths, July 20, bringing the statewide death toll 5,072 fatalities.

    State health officials have reported 879 new cases of the coronavirus since Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 51,746 confirmed cases.The Florida Department of Health also reported 15 deaths, Monday, increasing the death toll to 2,252 fatalities.The total number of coronavirus-related hospitalizations in Florida now stands at 9,424 patients.Of the 909,928 total tests that have been reported in Florida so far, 5.7% have been positive for the virus.

    Governor Ron DeSantis is lifting all restrictions on youth activities in Florida, opening the door for summer and sports camps.

    State health officials reported 502 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus, Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 46,944 cases.The Florida Department of Health also reported 55 deaths, Tuesday, for a total of 2,052 fatalities. 938 of Florida's coronavirus-related deaths have been associated with long-term care facilities, accounting for 45.7% of all virus-related deaths in the state.Nearly 8,500 people in total have been hospitalized for COVID-19 treatment in Florida.
