Truth, facts, fake news and journalistic integrity all lie at the center of Players Circle Theater’s current production and Florida debut of the Broadway comedy “The Lifespan of a Fact.”

The show is based on a book by the same name detailing the sometimes punishingly intricate and multi-year fact-checking process of essayist John D’Agata’s essay “What Happens There,” about a 2002 teen suicide in Las Vegas.

Ahead of the final performances of the show, we’ll get a closer exploration with director Bob Cacioppo, and two of the show’s stars, Carrie Lund and Paul Graffy. Bob and Carrie are co-founders of the theater company and serve as its producing artistic director and producing director, respectively.
