FGCU's Nest Fest Changes Lineup

Florida Gulf Coast University's annual musical festival is getting a last-minute change. 

The FGCU Programming Board announced a change, this week, in the musical lineup for FGCU's Nest Fest.

The rapper Wale was scheduled to co-headline the show with fellow rapper Kyle.

Kyle remains co-headliner but will now be performing with Sage the Gemini, who is known for his 2014 hit "Gas Pedal."

Nest Fest will be held at Hertz Arena, formerly known as Germain Arena, in Estero on April 4th.

Tickets are still on sale for $25 for students and $35 for the public and will increase to $45 for everyone on the day of the show.

She also won the Mark of Excellence Award for Feature Writing for her five-month coverage of an FGCU student's transition from male to female.As a WGCU reporter, she produced the first radio story in WGCU's Curious Gulf Coast project, which answered the question: Does SWFL Have More Cases of Pediatric Cancer?Rachel graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelor's degree in journalism.
