Local Democrats Await the Arrival of Vice President Biden

Vice President Joe Biden kicks off a two day campaign swing through Florida Friday.   On Saturday Mr. Biden speaks at the Wa-Ke Hatchee State Park Recreation Center in Ft. Myers.  Tickets to the event were handed out at Obama/Biden campaign offices in Ft. Myers, Lehigh Acres and Cape Coral.    Pat McCue picked up her free ticket in the Cape.  She’s  a life-long  Democrat  and ardent supporter of the Affordable Care Act.

I would really like to see health-care insurance for everyone.  This discrimination really bothers me.  I really do think it’s a right to have health-care. I know so many people not going to doctors and hospitals and they need to and they end up in the emergency room. It’s not a good system,” she said.

The Vice President will be in Boca Raton and Tamarac on Friday.  The Ft. Myers event begins at 11:40  AM on Saturday.  Campaign managers said it’s a good idea to arrive early.
