As many as 5.3 million Americans could be living with chronic viral Hepatitis B or C, yet health experts say most of them don’t even know they’re infected. Ahead of World Hepatitis Day on July 28, we’ll take a look at the symptoms and risks of this potentially fatal infection. We’ll also learn about new screening guidelines from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force targeting baby boomers, as well as local efforts to get more people tested.
