The US Census Bureau is hiring hundreds of thousands of temporary workers across the country to help with the 2020 count, and southwest Florida is no exception. All counties in the area will be hiring and hourly wages will vary from $14 to $17 dollars per hour, according to federal website 2020Census.gov. Recruitment is beginning now and the bulk of the work will take place in the spring of this year. Scheduling is flexible. Applicants should be at least 18 years old and be US citizens with a social security number. There is no upper age limit. Bilingual applicants are in demand.
