Orlando Mass Shooting

WMFE

The deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history occurred early Sunday morning in Orlando when gunman Omar Mateen opened fire in the gay night club Pulse, killing 49 people and injuring 53 others before being killed in a gun battle with law enforcement. Doctors say that with several victims still in critical condition the death toll could rise.  As vigils are being held around the world, we’ll get the latest on the investigation into the shooting.

We’ll also explore impacts on Florida’s LGBT community, concerns from the local Muslim community and how the mass shooting could influence the nation’s gun control debate going forward.
