Using Tech To Stay Fit Over The Holidays

You might think that running errands will keep you fit over the holidays.  But if that isn't working, here are some ways to apply technology to your training.

Fitness blogger Denise Mastanza-Taylor of says there are plenty of free apps to help motivate you through the holidays, especially if you can't carve out time to hit the gym.

“If you want to do a HIT, a high-intensity interval training workout, the one I'm using is the tabata timer, and it's free and it's highly rated, you can change the type of workout you want to do, the amount of time you want to do it and the amount of rest time you want to give yourself,” Mastanza-Taylor said.

She also recommends "my fitness pal" to keep track of calories, fat or micronutrients and for its fitness challenges. Mastanza-Taylor says that app also helps keep you accountable.
