The Southwest Florida-based synthrock, cyberpunk, electronica and witchwave band Cobress have spent the past year creating their new full-length album “Neon Royale.”

Songs on the new album mark a significant departure from music on the band’s 2018 EP “Stage Stomp.”  “Neon Royale” is something of a concept album and its being released over time in four chapters.  Songs in each chapter embody aspects of the four sacred elements: Fire, Water, Earth and Air.  “Fire” was released on Halloween with much acclaim from fans who now anxiously await the December 7th release of the next chapter, “Water.”

On Friday, Cobress will drop the music video for their new song on the album “The Glass Castle.”  We’ll catch up with Cobress members Frankie Orion (Guitar/Vocals/Synth), Colin Orion (Bass/Synth/Vocals) and Xid (Guitar/Synth/Vocals) to explore the band’s evolving sound and to hear selections from the new album.
