The dynamic music duo consisting of guitarist Max Hatt and vocalist Edda Glass perform live in the WGCU Studios ahead of their concert this Saturday, Feb. 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the Americana Community Music Association listening room at All Faiths Unitarian Congregation on McGregor Blvd. in Fort Myers.

Their original music truly defies genre classification, but has been described as cinematic folk, including jazz, and Bossa Nova.  They garnered a Grand Prize win at the 2014 NewSong Competition at Lincoln Center in New York.  They’ve performed all over the country and have appeared on both NPR and PBS.

Their 2016 album “Ocean of Birds,” was recorded at Echo Mountain Studios in Ashville, NC and was produced by Pat Sansome of Wilco and Autumn Defense.  It’s available on iTunes, Bandcamp, Amazon Music and Google Play. Reviewers have described their critically acclaimed original music as “mesmerizing, hypnotic, enchanting, exquisite, evocative, subtly poignant, elegantly funky, and haunting without trying to be.”
