AP Reporter Jason Dearen discusses his investigation finding Florida corrections officers openly touting white supremacy

The Associated Press published an investigative report in November finding that some prison guards in Florida openly tout their identity as white supremacists and affiliations with racist extremist groups. The report details a prison system facing chronic understaffing, corruption, and an environment where staff who attempt to report inmate abuse and other misconduct face retaliation and intimidation. We’ll speak with reporter Jason Dearen who investigated the story. Dearen also investigated a story published earlier this year detailing a KKK murder plot by Florida DOC officers of a former Florida prison inmate.
