Players Circle Theater performs “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time”

Players Circle Theater

Players Circle Theater is currently performing a production of “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time,” based on the best-selling novel of the same.

The story delves into the perspective of its lead character, a 15-year-old math savant seemingly on the autism spectrum as he embarks on an investigation into the murder of his neighbor’s dog. As the plot unfolds, though, he winds up discovering some poignant revelations about family and about his own life.

Players Circle Theater actually included this show in its inaugural season, but that was cut short after just one performance due to lockdown requirements at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We delve into the show with the director and Players Circle Theater co-founder Bob Cacioppo and the lead actor of this production Harvey Evans. We also explore neurodiversity and highlight resources available for families here in Southwest Florida with co-founder and Vice President of the nonprofit Family Initiative, Anjali Van Drie.
