Smoke signals rising from Florida Gulf Coast University got local attention last semester when it offered a class called, “Weed: The impact of marijuana on American life.” The class was filled with students, but they weren’t the only ones who were interested by the topic of cannabis, and the way it has impacted our culture.
One of the professors who taught that class, Dr. Martha Rosenthal, who also specializes in neuroscience and physiology, is offering a five-day Cannabis Education Certificate Program which is open to the public. The Cannabis Education Certificate is available for those, in and out of the medical marijuana industry, who want to learn more about the topic of cannabis. Dr. Rosenthal joins us in the studio to give us a preview of the program.
