We take a reprieve from coverage of the coronavirus pandemic to catch up with the mother and daughter team behind the podcast “Cool Dead Women.”  The podcast was created in 2018 by author, professor, editor and historian Erika Waters, Ph.D. and her daughter, Brooklyn-based filmmaker, musician and music journalist Blair Waters.

The podcast features the untold stories of remarkable women in history.  On the two-year anniversary of the recording of their first episode of the podcast, we explore recent episodes featuring author Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, musician Lucia Pamela, poet Edna St. Vincent Millay and suffragette and the first woman elected to U.S. Congress Jeanette Rankin.
