It has been an extremely rough climate for restaurants everywhere during the Coronavirus pandemic. Customers aren’t coming in, it’s been hard to find staff. People want to stay safe, but also stay in business. It’s been exceedingly rough and many restaurants have gone under.
So what is a restaurant critic to do in the face of all this?
Annabelle Tometich, food writer and critic for the Fort Myers News-Press and one half of the anonymous critic Jean LeBeouf, recently published a list of 14 restaurants in Southwest Florida that, she says, are doing things right under the most trying circumstances.
