Stephen Royka

Stephen Royka started playing guitar in high school using the video game Guitar Hero. He then turned to electric guitar. He picked it up again last spring which was an entire decade later. He now works at CROW on Sanibel in wildlife rehabilitation. He says he goes for complicated lyrics and though the music comes out as ‘90’s alternative rock that wasn’t always his intention.

Royka wrote and sang his first song this past June. He took piano lessons as a young child and says he would love to go back to it. He says he’d also love to learn how to play the Theremin. He plays at open mic nights at George and Wendy’s Seafood grill on Sanibel and at the French Connection in Fort Myers. His music can be heard online at reverbnation.com/sinfulpapers and at facebook.com/sinfulpapers.
