His 35 plays and musicals are staged throughout the United States and around the world every night of the year. He’s almost single-handedly revived the genre of comedy in theater.

Ken Ludwig’s madcap comedy, “Lend Me A Tenor,” was a Broadway and West End sensation. It won three Tony and four Drama Desk Awards. It’s set at the Cleveland Grand Opera Company in 1934. Ludwig shares his strategy of using opera as the backdrop for the play.
