Strong Storms Moving into Central and South Florida Wednesday

WUFT

A low risk of severe weather moves into central and south Florida today. The risk for severe weather is not as significant and it won't be as widespread as it was in the panhandle last night. However, an isolated tornado and wind damage can't be ruled out with a few stronger clusters of thunderstorms that move into central and south Florida Wednesday afternoon. The chances are highest near the I-4 corridor, including Tampa and Orlando, between 10 am and 2 pm. The risk then moves into parts of South Florida, including Fort Myers and Fort Pierce between 2 pm and 6 pm. The chances of a strong thunderstorm near the greater Miami metro area will occur between 4 and 7 pm.
