U.S. SBA Offers Economic Injury Disaster Loans for Red Tide Impacts

As the red tide bloom along the southwestern coast of Florida persists -- it’s almost in its second year now -- the U.S. Small Business Administration is offering some small businesses and private nonprofit organizations located in the declared counties of Florida, which include all of the counties in our listening area, what are called Economic Injury Disaster Loans. These are the same loans offered in the wake of natural disasters, like hurricanes and floods.
