Five U.S. cities now have approval to host flights to Cuba and Tampa is not one of them.

The U.S. Department of Transportation approved six domestic airlines to begin flights to Cuba from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Chicago, Philadelphia and Minneapolis/St. Paul.

The flights will start as early as fall.

Each airline can offer up to 10 daily flights to each of Cuba’s nine international airports, other than Havana. A decision on flights to Havana will be announced later this summer. The airlines have requested up to 60 flights per day to Havana but the DOT may only approve 20.
