During a recent press event to promote monoclonal antibodies as a treatment for coronavirus patients, Governor Ron DeSantis took questions about whether he's planning a 2024 presidential run.

Gov. Ron DeSantis says claims he’s positioning for a presidential run in 2024 are unfounded.

"I hear all this stuff and honestly it's nonsense," DeSantis said.

He spoke about the issue Tuesday afternoon while promoting the use of monoclonal antibodies to treat coronavirus patients. He said "all the speculation about me is purely manufactured. I just do my job. We work hard."

DeSantis has traveled throughout the country over the last few months raising money for his political campaign. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump, has recently ramped up his own fundraising efforts.
