President Biden is delivering his first State of the Union address on Tuesday amid rising inflation and growing fatigue as the coronavirus pandemic is set to enter its third year and as Russia continues its invasion of Ukraine.

Those are top issues in his speech, and he referenced Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, whom his recently announced pick to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer.

Follow live updates on the address here.

The speech comes as a majority of Americans say Biden's first year was a failure — and as the midterm elections loom.

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds will deliver the Republican response after Biden's speech. Reynolds gained national attention for her response to the coronavirus pandemic, which ran counter to many of the measures promoted by Biden.

Watch Biden's speech and Reynolds' response here, starting at 9 p.m. ET:

We often misinterpret their behavior and they sometimes leave us with a sense of fear of what they might do to us. Yes, tropical American vampire bats drink blood and in doing so can transmit disease to its victims. North American and most other bats are insect eaters that provide an important service in consuming mosquitos that can transmit diseases to the animals they bite. Most bats also consume large numbers of moths and other insects that feed on plants that our livestock or we depend on.
