Fishkind Commentary: Are Floridians Better Off Now Than in 2008?

Echoing Ronald Reagan’s famous challenge from the 1980 debates, Republican candidate Mitt Romney is asking voters if they’re better off today than they were four years ago. Economic analyst Hank Fishkind says some parts of the country, and some parts of the state, are recovering more rapidly from the recession than others.

WMFE’s Tom Parkinson asked him if central Florida residents, in the center of the politically important I-4 corridor, feel that they are better off now than when President Obama took office in January, 2009.
