As Hurricane Irma approaches South Florida, mandatory evacuations are being issued. Below are the evacuations:

Lee County
Mandatory evacuation orders were issued in Lee County Frioday for the Barrier islands, including Bonita Beach, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel, Captiva, and Pine Island. Those living in mobile or manufactured homes are strongly urged to evacuate as well.
City of Bonita Springs officials say Lee County Emergency operators, in addition to all of the barrier islands, have evacuated Cape Coral west of Burnt Store Road and south of Cape Coral Parkway, east of Del Prado Boulevard to Viscaya Parkway, North Fort Myers south of Bay Shore Road from Moody Road to State Road 31, and areas south of North River Road from State Road 31 to Fichters Creek, areas of Iona south of Maple Drive, west of U.S. 41, San Carlos Park west of U.S. 41, Estero west of U.S. 41, north of the Estero River and Bonita Springs communities along Estero Bay and the Imperial River Basin.

Collier County
Mandatory evacuations in Collier County went into place Friday afternoon, for Goodland, Everglades City and Chokoloskee. A county press release says Hurricane Irma has the potential to induce dangerous and damaging storm surge in those areas.

Charlotte County
Emergency officials in Charlotte county expanded mandatory evacuation orders Saturday to include those in the red Zone A portions of the county's evacuation map as well as those living in the county's orange Zone B. This includes residents on barrier islands of Don Pedro Island, Knight Island, Gasparilla Island, Little Gasparilla Island and Manasota Key as well as those living in mobile homes.
Pet-friendly public shelters opened Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Kingsway Elementary School and Liberty Elementary School in Port Charlotte. North Port High School and Heron Creek Middle School in North Port have also opened as emergency shelters.

Hendry County
Mandatory evacuation orders have been issued for parts of Hendry County as Hurricane Irma approaches. Residents will be required to leave at 8 a.m. Friday in the City of Clewiston, Hookers Point, Harlem, Flaghole, Montura Ranch Estates and the communities located within the Mid-County MSBU which includes Ladeca, Pioneer Plantation and Leon-Dennis Subdivision.

Glades County
Mandatory evacuation orders were issued at noon Friday for portions of Glades County, including Moore Haven, Lakeport, Washington Park, Benbow and Uncle Joe's Motel and Campground. A press release from the Glades County Emergency Operations Center says anyone in an RV park, mobile home or building constructed before 1992 must also evacuate. Shelters in Glades County opened at 1:00 PM Friday at Maple Grove Baptist Church, Moore Haven High School and at West Glades Elementary School.

Sarasota County
A mandatory evacuation order has been issued for portions of Sarasota County, including low-lying areas, barrier islands and mobile homes. That includes Longboat Key, Siesta Key, Lido Key, Casey Key and Manasota Key as well as the island of Venice. Brookside Middle School in Sarasota is now open as a pet-friendly shelter. For more information about shelters and evacuation zones call the Sarasota County Contact Center at 941-861-5000. The voluntary evacuation is set to allow people to leave their homes in advance of a possible mandatory evacuation.

Manatee County
Mandatory evacuations have been issued for Manatee County's low-lying areas and mobiole home residents 12 PM on Friday. County officials say in a press release, law enforcement and public safety officials are ready to help people evacuate safely, but first responders cannot assist anyone when rtopical storm winds reach 45 miles per hour. Temporary shelters open at 4 PM Friday for evacuees.
