In order to support local animal owners during the pandemic, Manatee County Animal Services will provide free pet food this week.

In a statement, MCAS said the organization wants to help local pet owners save money and animals stay healthy during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Starting Tuesday, MCAS will give out dog food, cat food, cat litter and treats at no cost to Manatee county residents.

The pet supplies will be given out every day at Manatee County Cat Town in Bradenton from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. while supplies last. More information can be found on the Manatee County Animal Services Facebook page.
