MichalKranzis a rising senior at the University of Chicago, and working atWLRNis his first experience working full-time at a radio station.
He grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. In Chicago, he has written forUChicago’sThe Gate newspaper, the Chicago Monitor, and is a staff writer at the South Side Weekly, where he writes on criminal justice and policing in Chicago. In addition, Michal enjoys writing about music and education.
After graduation Michal hopes to continue working in print, online, or radio journalism. In Miami, he enjoys exploring the city’s various neighborhoods and tasting local cuisines.
