Moussaoui Defiant in Face Death Penalty Ruling
The jury in Zacarias Moussaoui's sentencing trial decides that he is eligible for the death penalty. Moussaoui was defiant in the face of the ruling, yelling out in court, "You will never get my blood." In the next phase of the proceedings, the jury will hear more testimony and decide whether Moussaoui should receive the death penalty or life in prison.

Sentencing Trial Opens for Moussaoui
Opening statements began today in the penalty phase of the trial of Zaccarias Moussaoui, the only person charged in connection with the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Moussaoui has pleaded guilty to conspiring with al-Qaida to hijack planes and commit other crimes.
