COVID-19 Morning Report
Thursday marked another record high day for coronavirus-related deaths in Florida with health officials reporting 156 fatalities. Thursday’s deaths mark an 18 percent increase over the previous single-day high of 132 deaths reported Tuesday.The statewide death toll now stands at 4,782 fatalities. Florida's seven-day average for deaths grew to more than 95 a day, Thursday, which is more than double the daily death average less than two weeks ago.

COVID-19 Morning Update
Sunday marked the fourth consecutive day state health officials documented more than 3,000 new cases of the coronavirus in Florida in a single day.The Florida Department of Health reported a new record high number of daily cases of COVID-19, Saturday, with 4,049 cases. On Sunday health officials reported another 3,494 new cases bringing the statewide total to 97,291 cases.Since Friday, state health officials have reported 40 new coronavirus-related deaths increasing the statewide death toll to 3,144 fatalities.

COVID-19 Morning Report
State health officials reported 2,470 new COVID-19 cases, Tuesday, bringing Florida's total to 687,909 cases. The Florida Department of Health also reported 99 new coronavirus-related deaths, Sept. 22, increasing the statewide death toll to 13,579 fatalities.Of the 5,139,472 COVID-19 tests that have been reported in Florida so far, the overall positivity rate now stands at 13.38%. The latest single day positivity rate increased slightly to 5.83%.
