Cleveland Ballet was on point with a morning of dance with children at Golisano
Members of the Cleveland Ballet visited Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida, Tuesday morning. The Ballet is in Southwest Florida to give a benefit performance in Naples March 1st at a private event. At the hospital, dancers visited with patients, their families and caregivers. They also gave a short demonstration of ballet movements.

COVID-19 Morning Report
State health officials reported 1,823 new COVID-19 cases in Florida, Wednesday, increasing the overall total to 650,092 confirmed cases. Wednesday’s increase marks the lowest number of new cases reported in a day since June 15.The Florida Department of Health also reported 44 new coronavirus-related deaths, Sept. 8, bringing the statewide death toll to 12,067 fatalities.

DeSantis, cabinet back $141M in statewide land conservation deals
TALLAHASSEE -- Gov. Ron DeSantis and the state Cabinet on Monday quickly approved $141 million in deals that will help preserve land from the Panhandle to Southwest Florida.
COVID-19 Morning Report
State health officials reported 5,266 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, Monday, bringing the statewide total to 146,341 cases. June 29 marked the sixth consecutive day that the number of new cases counted in a single day topped 5,000.This past Saturday marked a new daily record with 9,585 cases reported. Florida's coronavirus caseload has more than doubled since phase two of Gov. Ron DeSantis' reopening plan went into effect June 5.
