Five people were wounded, none critically, in a shooting that interrupted a homecoming week celebration at Morgan State University on Tuesday, prompting a lockdown of the historically Black college.
A tornado in Kansas injured several people and damaged multiple buildings
In addition to wreckage from the tornado itself, three meteorology students traveling back from storm chasing in Kansas were killed in a crash. The twister knocked out power for over 15,000 people.
